Tuesday, July 17th, 2007A recent study which just appeared in the Journal of the American Medical Association about chocolate lowering blood pressure. By a series of tests they proved that eating some dark chocolate can lower a persons blood pressure without having a diet change. German researchers divided 44 adults in half. They gave one half dark chocolate and one half white chocolate. The ones who had dark chocolate received a difference of 20 points. The people who had white chocolate did not get any.
There is an ingredient in chocolate that works as a vasodilator, helping the blood vessels relax and become more flexible, and thus reducing the pressure inside. And surprisingly a little chocolate in this case goes a long way.

All of the times I have had Russian chocolate I have found a certain peculiar taste in my mouth after words. Sort of nutty, almost fruity to me but yet at the same time I tasted something else.
